Editorial policy

Our guides help business owners and people relocating to the Republic of Cyprus identify the relevant rules, documents and next steps. Zeno is a business services brand coordinating independent professionals. A guide is general information; a professional engagement and advice on your facts are separate.

Sources and dates

We prioritise legislation, the Cyprus authorities, EU institutions and the responsible regulator. We distinguish enacted rules from proposals and EU rules from national procedures. A government webpage can itself contain old guidance: where sources disagree, we check the current instrument and identify any unresolved limitation.

A publication date records first publication. An update date should reflect a substantive change, rather than a routine website build. Sources are linked so readers can check forms, eligibility and subsequent changes directly.

Authorship and AI assistance

Guides labelled “Zeno · Editorial” are prepared with AI assistance and source checks. They are attributed to the organisation, not to a person who has not confirmed authorship. They do not claim an individual lawyer or accountant has reviewed them. Older articles retain their existing bylines; a byline alone is not a statement that a new professional review has taken place.

Hypothetical examples are labelled as such. We do not present invented clients, case outcomes, qualifications or research statistics as evidence. For a transaction, filing or disputed interpretation, obtain advice from the appropriate qualified professional.

How guides are structured

Each new practical guide addresses a distinct question, gives an early answer, explains scope and exceptions, and includes an actionable checklist or example. Related guides connect the detailed question to the wider process. Length follows the question; there is no fixed word count or keyword density target.

Translations

Published language versions have their own URLs and reciprocal language links. We preserve legal scope, figures and source references across translations. An English guide is not labelled as German simply because a German introduction has been added. Official original texts prevail over our explanatory translations.

Corrections

Please send a correction with the article URL, the passage in question and, if available, the official source. We assess corrections against the cited rules and update affected language versions. Sending a correction does not create a professional engagement.

Search visibility

We make content accessible, clearly structured and internally linked. We do not guarantee indexing, a first position, a rich result or citation by an AI service. Google’s guidance on AI features explains that ordinary search fundamentals apply and that special AI markup is not required.
