DSA Article 16 — Notice & action mechanism
Report illegal content on zenolegal.com
Under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), anyone can notify Zeno about content on this website they believe is illegal. We will acknowledge receipt promptly and act on the notice without undue delay, in a diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner.
How to submit a notice
Email enquiries@zenolegal.com with “DSA Article 16 notice” in the subject line. Please include:
- A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content illegal (cite the specific EU or Member State law).
- A clear indication of the exact electronic location of the content (the URL or URLs).
- Your name and email address (anonymous notices are accepted only where the content relates to offences under Articles 3–7 of Directive 2011/93/EU).
- A statement confirming the good-faith belief that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.
What happens next
We confirm receipt without undue delay. We then review the notice diligently, non-arbitrarily, and objectively. If we decide to act, we will remove or disable access to the content and notify both you (the notifier) and the content provider, providing the reasons for our decision and the redress mechanisms available.
Out-of-court dispute settlement
Decisions taken under Article 16 are subject to the out-of-court dispute settlement mechanisms certified under Article 21 of the DSA. You may also seek redress before the competent Cyprus courts or your local authority.
